World's Most Expensive Bugatti Sells For $19 Million

Bugatti, the French supercar maker, is making headlines with their newest luxury model "La Voiture Noire," which sold for a rumored $18.9 million (16.7 million euros).

Bugatti described La Voiture Noire as a homage to the Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, of which only a handful were made in the 1930s. The last Atlantic produced is owned by fashion designer Ralph Lauren.

Bugatti president, Stephan Winkelmann, said the car combined “extraordinary technology, aesthetics and extreme luxury."

The identity of the buyer of La Voiture Noire was not revealed but it is believed that the rumored purchase price is the highest for any car in human history.

With $19 million you could buy almost 800 2019 Toyota Camrys, or 95 Tesla Roadsters.

What do you think about the newest most expensive car in the world? Is it wack or worth it?
